Glimmers to Greatness: Illuminate Your Leadership Brilliance

Summary: The journey from potential to greatness is often marked by subtle signals and tiny sparks of brilliance. When recognized and harnessed, they can illuminate the path to extraordinary success. Let’s explore the art of turning possibilities into profound achievements.

Dear Dr. Sylvia,

I am impressed with your writing about how small glimmers can lead to new ways of building a successful business.

For example, my story may help others.

I graduated from law school, which was a family tradition. I know it was to please my parents.

One day, a colleague had a nasty spill at work, and when I went to help him, I felt something stir in me.

Glimmers are like fireworks in your gut.

As I heard you say in a speech, it was “like fireworks in your gut.” I knew I yearned to be a healthcare professional.

While I hemmed and hawed for several years, I finally followed my heart and am now a physician’s assistant, loving every minute.

Did it take courage to change careers mid-stream? Absolutely!

That glimmer awakened me and activated my “YES.”

Your “GLIMMERS to GREATNESS” book will help others listen to what is in their hearts.

Thanks for your guidance.

Signed,

An ardent supporter

Dear Ardent Supporter,

Your comments mean the world to me.

I have spent much of my career navigating the complex intersection of personal and professional spheres for leaders and emerging leaders.

Being self-aware is vital for positive leadership success

Leadership is not confined to boardrooms and offices; it resonates in our homes and relationships and affects every aspect of our lives.

Many are now seeking not only success but also fulfillment.

Here is one exercise that can help each of you activate that inner glimmer:

Sit quietly for a few moments and go back to a time in your childhood when you were seven, eight, or nine.
What games did you play when you were alone?
Did you write, draw, or offer your toys food or comfort?
Ask yourself what made you feel delight.
Do this exercise three or four different times to find your early glimmer.

Join me in unlocking the true essence of leadership, where the glimmers of insights and actionable strategies become catalysts for your own personal and professional greatness.

To your success,

Sylvia Lafair
